Where do you visit for private consults?
We are based in Fairfield, Victoria, and travel with no additional charge to suburbs within a 15km radius of Fairfield. As the name suggests, we do focus on the inner Northern suburbs of Melbourne, but that does not mean we won't travel elsewhere!
Will you travel outside of the Northern suburbs for consults?
Yes, of course! For locations exceeding 20kms from our base of Fairfield, we may need to charge a small travel fee to cover mileage and time between consults. Where possible, we will book people on the same side of town on the same day so we can wipe your travel fee!
Where are group classes held?
Our group classes are set to be held in Carlton, Brunswick West and Northcote. Check our site when group classes are up and available for booking to see the when and where for different levels.

What are the terms and conditions for booking a service with you?
When completing a booking with Northside Dog Training, we will send through a waiver alongside our terms and conditions to look over and sign prior to commencing training.
The terms and conditions aim to protect Olivia and Northside Dog Training professionally, but also to ensure the welfare of dogs undergoing training is protected at all times.
We ask that consultation forms are filled out as honestly as possible so Olivia, yourself, your dog and other members of the public are protected as much as possible from injury and other damaging experiences.
We are open to any questions you may have about our terms and conditions, but please know they have been created with the goal in mind to keep trainers safe from abuse, uphold animal welfare and maintain the privacy of those entrusting us with something as personal as behavioural intervention.
What is your cancellation policy?
All bookings are confirmed with payment in full prior to commencing classes. We are unfortunately an industry that is subject to a lot of no-shows and last-minute cancellations, and we simply do not have the extra administration time to accommodate for this.
Dog training is all about consistency and a part of why we ask for payment upfront is to ensure you are as committed to making a positive change with your dog as we are.
If you are needing to reschedule a private consultation, we ask you provide at least 48 hours' notice to avoid a $25.00 fee.
In the event a group class, course or clinic needs to be cancelled or rescheduled, Northside Dog Training will refund all funds back to clients which as much notice as possible.
What happens if I need to reschedule a booking?
With our group classes, we cannot reschedule missed classes and ask that you ensure you are able to make at least most, but ideally all of the scheduled classes when booking in for one of our courses or clinics. Booking in for our group classes must be paid in full prior to commencement to secure your place.
